Data will be accepted for upload if appropriate prior public registration was completed and at least one peer reviewed publication is completed. SAFEGUARDING RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS For research involving samples or information from human participants, data must be managed and shared in a way which is fully consistent with the terms of the consent under which samples and data were provided by the research participants.

It is recognised that many research studies may have been completed before data sharing was considered and there is no opportunity to obtain consent from participants. In this case, only totally anonymised data should be made available. Where appropriate, the opinion of the ethics committee which considered the original study should be obtained before data sharing is considered.
